Accessibility Statement

What we've built into this site, what we know is imperfect, and how to reach a person if something here blocks you.

Our aim

We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. That is a target we work toward, not a certification we hold, and we would rather say so plainly than imply a conformance level we haven't had independently audited.

What this site does

  • Semantic HTML with a single main landmark, labelled navigation and a skip link to content.
  • Visible keyboard focus on every interactive element; the navigation, dropdown and mobile drawer are fully keyboard operable and close on Escape.
  • Every text and interface colour measured against the background it actually sits on, at or above the 4.5:1 ratio AA asks for body text (3:1 for large text and for the borders of form controls).
  • Form fields with persistent visible labels, not placeholder-only labels.
  • Form errors named in words beneath the field they belong to, and read out by screen readers — never signalled by colour alone.
  • Decorative graphics hidden from assistive technology; meaningful ones described.
  • Animation — the marquee, the rotating hero graphic and the circuit traces — stops for anyone whose system requests reduced motion, and a Pause motion control in the footer of every page stops it for everyone else. The setting is remembered.
  • Responsive layout that reflows to narrow screens and supports browser zoom without horizontal scrolling of the page body.

Known limitations

  • Documents we send by email — quotations and terms — are not yet produced as tagged, accessible PDFs. If you need a quotation in an accessible format, ask and we will send it as plain text or HTML.
  • This site has not been independently audited. Our testing is internal.
  • Third-party content we may add later — embedded manufacturer material, for instance — is outside our direct control.

If something here blocks you, tell us and we'll fix it. Email sales@brutecommunications.com with the page and what happened. We will reply within two business days, and if a fix will take longer we will give you the information another way in the meantime — by email, by phone, or as a plain-text document.

No part of buying from us requires this website. A quote request is equally valid by email or phone, and we will work with whatever format suits you.
